BEIJING- Urban fixed-asset investment rose 27.2 pct in the first 10 months to 11.319 trln yuan, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said.

The NBS did not provide a figure for October. Urban fixed-asset investment in September rose 29 pct. In the first nine months it rose 27.6 pct, the bureau said.

Fixed-asset investment in the property sector for the January-October period was 2.392 bln yuan, up 24.6 pct year-on-year.

Investment in the coal sector rose 41 pct year-on-year to 177.3 bln yuan in the first 10 months. In the oil and natural gas industry, investment rose 34.4 pct to 193.6 bln yuan.

In the power and heating production and supply sectors, investment was up 16 pct at 697.9 bln yuan.

Investment in the ferrous metal mining and processing sector rose 31.4 pct to 304.1 bln yuan, while the non-ferrous metal sector was up 43 pct at 194.9 bln yuan.
